Herbert Zipper Concert Hall


Facilities Rental Information

The Herbert Zipper Concert Hall is a 415-seat intimate theatre with the amenities of a modern performance space. It accommodates a wide array of events, including music, dance, lectures, meetings and teleconferences. The Hall has also been used by many television and film productions, including The West Wing and The District.

The Colburn School's facilities include the Zipper Concert Hall, the Mayman Recital Hall, the Orchestra Rehearsal Hall and the landscaped outdoor Plaza space. The outdoor Plaza is immediately adjacent to the Main Lobby and offers wonderful opportunities for performances, parties and staged events.

Reservations for Zipper Concert Hall, the Mayman Recital Hall and the Orchestra Rehearsal Hall are tracked internally. Please call Lisa Palley at 213.621.4514 for availability

Submit your request by completing a Letter of Intent and an Information Sheet, and mail them with your $500 deposit to The Colburn School. We recommended that you choose an alternate date for your event.

The Colburn School will confirm your request within 10 days. If the date is available, you will be notified and your deposit becomes non-refundable.
